Congratulations to Jason Vladescu who has been selected as the 2017-18 Vocational Service Award recipient.  Jason joined the Rotary Club of the Caldwells in November 2015.  He organizes the an annual Super Bowl fundraiser, serves as the public relations chairperson, and assists in organizing the sale of 50/50 tickets for the Caldwell Street Fair. Jason C. Vladescu is a partner at North Jersey Behavioral Health Services, an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Behavior Analysis at Caldwell University, and a Clinical Supervisor in the Center for Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis at Caldwell University. In these positions, he provides clinical services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder, teaches graduate classes, supervises and mentors graduate students, and conduct and disseminates experimental behavior analytic research. Jason has dozens of publications in peer-reviewed journals; book chapters; invited talks; and presentations at regional, national, and international conferences. He serves on the editorial board for several peer-reviewed journals.
One service area Jason is particularly involved in is providing support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder around the globe. He has begun to develop relationships with service providers around the globe, including Cherepovets, Russia and Iloilo, Philippines. In November 2016, he worked with special education delegates from Russia who traveled to the US through the Open World Professional Exchange Program. In January 2017 Jason participated in a medical mission in Iloilo and will return to the Philippines in January 2018.
