Spotlight on Cheryl Delgado

Assistant Governor Cheryl Delgado has been a resident of Basking  Ridge, NJ for almost her entire life. She still lives there with her husband of 31 years, Mike. They have two daughters, 25 year-old Denise and 28 year-old Danielle; and they are about to become first-time grandparents!

In her “real” life, Cheryl has for the past nine years been the Church Administrator for the Somerset Hills Lutheran Church, the church in which she grew up. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of the United Way of Union County for many years.

During her tenure at United Way, she was a member of the Summit/New Providence Rotary Club for 15 years, serving as Assistant Governor for District 7510 as well as District Secretary for seven years.

A two-term Past-President of the Bernardsville Rotary Club, Cheryl loves Rotary because of the people and friends she has made, and the work that we do.
