Hampton Raises Funds for Food Pantry


On May 11th the Hampton Township Rotary Club held their 20th Annual Golf Outing at Farmstead Golf Club in Andover. The Rotary hosts the Golf Outing to raise awareness and funding as well as celebrate the Sussex County Food Pantry.

This year Hampton Rotary donated $10,000.00, which exceeded funds donated in previous years.  The Golf Outing this year drew over 60 golfers as well as over 80 attendees at the dinner whose generous contributions assisted the Rotary in their donation. 


The Sussex County Food Pantry is located in the Social Services Office at 83 Spring St in Newton.  The Hampton Township Rotary club is a long-standing philanthropic club that provides financial support to many individuals and organizations in Sussex County.  The Hampton Township Rotary club meets every Tuesday at 7:47 a.m. at the Hampton Diner, Rt. 206.
