Group Study Exchange

It is hard to believe, but the Team from District 4610, Sao Paulo Brazil has been gone 3 weeks as of this writing. They were engaging, charming and a pleasure to get to know…as many of us were fortunate in being able to.

The team consisted of Rotarian Leader Eliane Grassi, Fernanda Ramos, Meriane Franco, Renato Garcia, and Daiane Diniz. They arrived on April 11 and over the next 4 weeks had stays in Warren, Sussex, Essex and Morris Counties.  In the middle, they joined us for our District Conference at Mountain Creek Resort. A sincere Thank You to all of the Host Families and Volunteers who made all of this possible.

Team Brazil never missed an opportunity to roll up their sleeves and be a “Gift to the World.” From packing food at the Madison End Hunger 3.6 event… to making their potent Caipirinhas at the District Conference. They charged a modest fee and donated all of the proceeds to our Homeless Veterans.

They departed for home on May 7 and they will be missed. They made many friends here and I am quite certain that many of us will stay in touch. That is one of the great benefits of a great program.

Our Team is currently in Brazil and will return home at the end of this week. We will catch up with them next Month.
